Geneva L Porter

Geneva L. Porter, died peacefully in Panama City Florida on May 7, 2022. She was born in Rosa, Arkansas to parents Richard and Francis Lee. She graduated from high school in Gosnell, Arkansas and lived the majority of her life in Memphis, TN. She retired as an executive secretary from A.E. Balkin & Associates. Her family and friends knew her best for her love of coffee, Snickers bars, Jason’s Deli, & Grisanti’s Restaurant. She was a long-time member of Lindenwood Church. Family and friends also knew to never disturb her while she was watching her cherished Saint Louis Cardinals, the Grizzlies, Wheel of Fortune, & Jeopardy. She was soft spoken and fiercely independent. She was a dedicated mother, grandmother, friend, and sister to her siblings. She was predeceased by her beloved sons, Ronnie and Joey; her parents, Richard and Francis Lee; brothers, Richard, Jr and Joe; sister, Jeanette Viola. She is survived by her daughter, Lee Ann of Panama City, FL; sisters Elizabeth (Milton) Morgan of Fayetteville, AR and Zelpha Arnold of Fountain Inn, SC; brothers Charles (Helen)Lee of Senatobia, MS and Jerry Lee of Greers Ferry, AR; grandchildren Jeff, Chris, Bradley, and Jennifer, 16 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren. She will also be greatly missed by numerous nieces and nephews.
