Georgianne Page Carlisle

Georgianne (Page) Carlisle was born in Blakley, GA on February 4, 1952 to Robert Wilson Page and Mary Page.  She was the second of four children, and grew up in Cuthbert, GA until her family moved to Marietta, GA in 1968.  Georgianne graduated from Sprayberry High School in 1970.  She worked as an Insurance Underwriter and Broker for over 30 years until she retired.  Georgianne married Larry Clifford Carlisle in 1974, and had a son, Roy Wesley Carlisle, in 1977.  The Carlisle family lived in Marietta until 1989, when they moved to Taylorsville, GA.  Georgianne was a devoted wife and mother, and her generosity knew no end.  She was friendly and outgoing to everyone, and she never met a stranger.  The people she knew well, knew that she would talk your ear off, joke and laugh, and many would say she was quite a gas.  She was well known in the Taylorsville area from being involved with extracurricular activities at the schools, involvement in churches, and befriending numerous families in the area. She cooked for many, would give generously to those she loved, and though she only had one child, she helped to be influential to several kids in Taylorsville as they grew up. She lost Larry in 2018, and moved to Panama City Beach, FL to be with Wes and his family, where she lived the remainder of her life.  Georgianne is survived by her sister Patrice Nipper of Euharlee, GA, her son Wes Carlisle(Mina)  and granddaughter Asia of Panama City Beach, FL, 5 nieces(Niki, Jessica, Jennifer, Magdalene, and Charity), as well as many friends.  She is preceded in death by her parents Robert Wilson Page and Mary (Bell) Page, her husband Larry Clifford Carlisle, and her brothers Wilson Gordon (Yah) Page and Jimmy Page.
