Gerald K. Mendenhall Jr., Hardworking Father and Intrepid Entrepreneur, Dies at 57
Gerald (aka Jay-bird, Jerry, and Jer) Mendenhall Jr. died September 15, 2020 in a fatal car crash outside of Panama City, FL. He was born in the beautiful state of Oregon in 1962. He was raised by his parents Gerald and Barbara Mendenhall and Shirley and Dan Dilsaver. In addition to his father and his children, Heather Lalonde, Jera Lammy, Leanna Smith, and Michael Mendenhall, he is survived by his brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, and five grandchildren. After honorably serving in the U.S. Army for four years, he pursued many business opportunities. With every undertaking he gave his all. He was focused, motivated, and willing to go the extra mile.
In his personal life, he was always ready to lend a helping hand, or offer words of encouragement. His generous spirit will be missed by many. A celebration of his life will be scheduled at a later date.
