GLENDON RALPH "GLEN" ADAMS

Glendon R. "Glen" Adams, 87, of Parker, passed away Monday, September 16, 2019, surrounded by his family. Glen was born in Columbus, IN, and lived in Panama City since 1970. While in Indiana, he owned and managed two roller skating rinks and a mobile home park. Glen retired as an electrician in Civil Service at Tyndall AFB after 30 years service. After his retirement, he owned and managed mobile home parks and owned Adams Used Cars. Glen was a long time member and High Priest at the Callaway Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. In his younger days, he enjoyed serving as a Little League baseball coach. Glen was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, and a son, Tony Carl Adams.

Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Rita Adams; his daughters, Jenny Smith and husband Dick and Judy Brock and husband Johnny, all of Callaway; a son, Andy Adams of Parker; 19 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, September 19, 2019, at the Callaway Ward, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 6525 Lake Drive, Panama City, FL 32404. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the Church from 10:00 AM until service time at 11:00.
