Glenn Douglas Derrington Sr.

Petty Officer 1st Class, Glenn Douglas Derrington, Sr., USN, ret., 72 of Panama City, passed away April 18, 2019 at Gulf Coast Regional Hospital. Glenn was born February 3, 1947 in Jonesboro, AR to William and Minnie (Toy) Derrington and moved to Panama City in 1986. Glenn is a twenty year Navy Veteran and diver who also enjoyed reading, biking and wine. He was united in marriage in 1979 to his wife, Maria who resides in Panama City Beach. Glenn is also survived by his son, Glenn, Jr. of Bradenton, FL; his daughter, Linda (Richard) Amour of Panama City; his sister, Nina (Guido) Chaddock of Sacramento, CA; first cousin, Wesley Bishop of Garden Grove, CA and his grandchildren, Logan Derrington, Ariana Amour and Killian Amour. Friends will be received 3-4 pm Saturday May 4, 2019 at the Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home where funeral services will take place that afternoon at 4pm. Interment will be held privately at Barrancas National Cemetery in Pensacola. Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
