Hannah Marie (Reil) Weldon, 86, of Springfield, Florida passed away December 1st, 2019 in Ocean Springs, Mississippi. She was born April 19, 1933 in Newburgh, New York, to Arthur Joseph and Mary (Christenson) Reil. Hannah was one of eleven children, Catherine and Arthur Joseph, passed away as infants, Nelson, Arthur David, Kenneth, William, Robert, Pauline, Irene, and Margaret. Hannah attended St. Patrick’s School and South Junior High School both in Newburgh, NY. She was a long time member and Eucharistic Minister of St. Dominic Catholic Church in Panama City. During her young life Hannah work for a pocket book factory in Newburgh until she married Robert M. (Bob) Weldon who passed away in 2005. Hannah and Bob lived in New York, Vermont, the Philippine Islands, and New Jersey, finally settling in Panama City in 1968. Hannah was retired from the Military Exchange Service at Tyndall Air Force Base after 35 years of service. Hannah is survived by two children, a son Richard Allen Weldon and his wife Monika with four grandchildren Jeffrey, his wife Megan, Matthew, Christopher and Heather, and her daughter Roberta Martine (Marty) McDavid, her husband Dr. Stephen McDavid and three granddaughters Jennifer, Stephanie (McDavid) Kippes, her husband Anthony, and great grandchildren James and Josephine Leigh, and Lauren McDavid, and by one sister Margaret (Reil) Hall and her husband Levi Hall of Panama City, and two sister-in-laws Mrs. Ann Reil and Mrs. Joan Reil of Newburgh, NY. The funeral mass will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, December 14th at St. Dominic Catholic Church. The family will receive friends at Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Friday, December 13th from 6 to 8 PM.
