HAZEL FOSTER

Hazel Foster, 87, of Panama City, passed Wednesday, February 06, 2019, after a long battle with Alzheimer's. Hazel was born to Earl and Estelle Parker, December 19, 1931 in Parker, Florida. She married Milton Foster in 1948, and enjoyed life together for 49 years in Panama City.

Hazel is preceded in death by her husband Milton (1998) and her son, John Milton (2016). Hazel is survived by two sons, Richard (Linda) of Panama City and Steven (Donna) of Pensacola. She is also survived by four grandchildren; Shawn Foster (Sarah), Kristen Hathaway (Ricky), Alex Foster (Keely) and Kimberly Funaro (Gary); and eight wonderful great-grandchildren.

Hazel was a lifelong member of First Assembly of God, Panama City, and worked at Gulf Coast State College for 28 years until retiring in 1997. Her passions were her Christian Faith, her family, her friends, southern cooking, traveling, gospel music and fresh water fishing.

We wish to thank the Lisenby Skilled Nursing Staff for their special care and the love they gave to our mother for the past three years. The staff and patients were relocated to South Florida before Hurricane Michael, and remain there today caring for their patients.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Alzheimer's Foundation of America or to your local Hospice Care Facility would be appreciated.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, February 12, at the First Church of the Nazarene, 3610 W. 17th Street, Panama City, officiated by Pastor Bobby Thompson. Visitation will be at 10:00 am and services at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens immediately afterwards.
