Henry Walter Dudka, 91, of Lynn Haven, Florida, passed away peacefully on February 22, 2021 at home surrounded by loving family and his long-time caregivers. Hank, as he was lovingly known to all, was born in Manchester, NH, to Frank and Nellie Gladysz Dudka January 16, 1930. He served a distinguished military career of 22 years, achieving the rank of Chief Master Sergeant in the United States Air Force. After retiring from the military, Hank began a new career with the United States Department of Agriculture. Hank and his wife, Marge, lived for many years in the Northern Virginia area. After retirement, they moved to Lynn Haven, Florida to be closer to their daughters. Hank enjoyed times spent with family, holiday celebrations and time spent with friends He loved dancing with his wife. His greatest joy was his family Everyone LOVED to be around “Uncle Hank”. He had a talent for music, inherited from his dad, who was an orchestra leader. Hank played the piano and the trumpet. In the early years of his marriage, he and Marge loved to dance to Big Band music. Hank was a kind and honorable man who loved God. He always saw the best in everyone. He never knew a stranger. He was a friend to all. He was truly an icon within our family and everyone adored him. Hank was preceded in death by his loving wife, Marge. He was also preceded in death by his loving son, David Michael Dudka, his grandson, Daniel Stephen Minkey and his granddaughter, Stacey Anne Minkey. He is survived by his three daughters, Rebecca Dodge Lowry and her husband, Steven; Gail Hammer Tamberino and her husband, Frank; and Joanne Minkey Crouch and her husband, Duwayne. His granddaughter, Gina Robinson Ware and her husband, Tom; his great grand-daughter, Anna Marie Robinson; great great granddaughters, Gianna and Sophia; Rebecca’s children: Ashby Noel Dodge, wife Chris and great grandson, Sawyer Dodge O’Shea; Justin Chandler Dodge, wife, Victoria and great grandchildren: Chandler, Noble, Jackson, Annabelle and Caroline. Ryland Thomas Dodge IV, husband Jake and great grand-son, Tommy; Parker David Dodge and Steve Lowry’s daughter’s Elisabeth, Sara and Victoria. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated 10am, Thursday, February 25, 2021, at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church with Father Anthony Nguyen officiating. Visitation will be at 9am before the service. The address is 1003 N. East Avenue, Panama City, Florida. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Hank Dudka to Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church.
