Jackqueline Marie Pitts Dubrule was born June 20, 1952 to Jackie Leroy Pitts and Shirley Jean Jernigan Pitts. Jacqueline was a resident of Clewiston, FL for a few years, and then moved back to Panama City where she was born and raised. Jackqueline was a 1970 graduate of Rutherford High School. She was a published author who wrote children's books and romance novels. Jackqueline enjoyed shopping and spending time with her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jackie and Shirley Pitts; her husband Herve (Frenchie) Dubrule, granddaughter Kaitlyn Garrett and brother, Dan M. Pitts. She leaves to cherish her memory 3 sons, Jamie (Gail) Garrett, Jason (Madelyn) Garrett, and Johnathan (Jessica) Garrett; two sisters, Gwendolyn (Ellis) Langston, and Kalissa Pitts; 1 brother, Keith Pitts; 6 grandsons, Johnny Garrett, Justin Garrett, Joshua Garrrett, Alex Garrett, Elijah McQueary and Freddie McQueary; 4 granddaughters, Miranda Garrett, Kelli Garrett, Gabriella Garrett, and Heather McQueary; a great-grandson Adam and great-granddaughter, Kloe; her nieces Kathy, Kayla and Jeannie (Ellis) "Bubba" Hunter; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, April 23, 2019, at the Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Eddie Pitts officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the Chapel Monday evening from 5:00 until 8:00 PM.
