Jacqueline Lucinne Cecile Tellier, aged 80, died peacefully on June 12, 2017 at her home with her daughter by her side.

Jacqueline was born on May 10, 1937, in Saint Quentin, France. She was the daughter of Marcel and Suzanne Tellier.

Jacqueline enjoyed traveling the world with her former husband while he was Para-Rescue in the United States Air Force. She enjoyed good food and great wine. She enjoyed the water and once held the record for the deepest dive by a woman on Guam. She loved going to the beach and often made her own bathing suits. She was an avid reader and completed her doctoral studies while in New Mexico. She proudly took on the role of Professor of Languages and taught both in New Mexico and in New York City. While in New York City, she was the Chair of the Foreign Language Department at the prestigious Nightingale-Bamford School and enjoyed imparting her wisdom and her love of language onto the students. In 1956, Jacqueline married Alex Hudnall, while he was stationed in France. They met at a town fair where Jacqueline was working. Her beauty and intelligence drew them together instantly. Together, they had two children.

Jacqueline is survived by her children, Marianne Lister and husband Timothy Lister and Eric Hudnall and wife Jalynn; her three brothers, Jacques Tellier, Jean-Pierre and wife Mary-Lou, Jean-Marc and wife Jeannine; one sister, Dominique Managin and husband Jacky; four grandchildren, Amanda Register, J.D. Lister, Erica Hudnall, Adam Hudnall and; and 2 great grandchildren, Acelynn Lister and Amelie Singletary.

There will be a graveside service at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, Friday, June 16, 2017 at 4:00pm. Flowers can be sent to Kent-Memorial Funeral Home.
