James Michael Dykes, 66, of Lynn Haven passed away October 3,2O17. He was born in Panama City to J.W. and Marilyn Dykes on November 18, 1950.
Mike retired from Arizona Chemical, was a veteran of the United States Army and was Baptist by faith.
Mike was predeceased by his father, J. W. Dykes.
He is survived his wife, Kathy Creel Dykes, mother Marilyn Dutton Dykes, children Paul Dykes, David and Arwen Dykes and Jason and Kelli Walsingham, grandchildren Ashley and Adam Dykes and their mother Maria, and Parker Walsingham, the first to call him Granddaddy, brothers Rodney Dykes and wife Mickie, Stephen Dykes and wife Julie and Jack Creel and wife Sue.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 P. M. Saturday, October 7, 2017 at Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home with Rev. Amy Persons officiating. Family will receive friends 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
Serving as Pallbearers are Daniel Dykes, Matthew Dykes, Logan Dykes, Kevin Dutton, Kenny Hayes, Buck Holmes, Mike Miller and Michael Pettis. Honorary Pallbearers: Carlos Atkinson, Cody Berens, Joe Tyson, Russell Underwood, and members of Arizona Chemical's Quarter Century Club.
