James G Kerby

James G. Kerby, 88, of Lynn Haven, Florida passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, August 3, 2017.

James was a resident of Lynn Haven for 20 years. He was a member of The Christian Church at Panama City, Past Master of the Fountain County, Indiana Masonic Lodge, and member of The Plainfield, Indiana Elk’s Club. James served in the United States Marine Corp during WWII and the Korean Conflict. He retired from the Allison Gas Turbine Division of General Motors where he was an engineering technician for 37 years. James was also a deputy for the Hendricks County, Indiana Sheriff’s Department and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his loving wife Betty Kerby of 66 years; daughter Kim Skibba and her husband Brian Skibba of Panama City; grandchildren Rachel Skibba and Shane Skibba of Panama City; and numerous family members in Indiana.

Graveside services will be held at 10 A.M. Thursday, August 10, 2017 with military honors at Forest Lawn Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Craig Brannon officiating.
