Jerry L. Hicks Ret. Chief Msgt.,USAF, 83, of Panama City, Florida passed away Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at his home.
Mr. Hicks was a resident of Panama City since 1980 and a Baptist by Faith. He was a member of Shaddiah Shriners Temple Jerry was 32nd degree mason and a member of the Masonic Lodge in Grand Forks, ND. He retired after serving 28 years in the USAF as the rank of Chief Master Sergeant. He loved carpentry, electronics, Nascar fan, and Jerry was very patriotic and would make sure to fly his American flag.
He is preceded in death by his parents and 8 siblings.
He is survived by his loving wife Violet Hicks of 60 years; children Jerry D. Hicks and Matthew L. Hicks; grandchildren Nicholas James Hicks and Katie Hicks.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday, November 3,, 2017 at Kent Forest Lawn Funeral Home with Chaplain Michael Bryan officiating. The family will receive friends 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Thursday, November 2, 2017 at the funeral home.
