JESSICA LEIGH BRANDA

Jessica Leigh Branda, 37, of Panama City, passed away Tuesday, November 5, 2019, following an extended illness. Jessica was a native of Panama City, and a 2000 graduate of Mosley High School. She worked in administrative positions at several companies, and was a member of the Earned Value Team at Eastern Shipbuilding. Jessica loved crafts, puzzles, and spending time with her family. She especially enjoyed being with them on game night. Jessica was preceded in death by her mother, Laura Schaefer.

Survivors include her husband, John Branda of Panama City; her daughters, Laura Jo Branda and Julia Rose Branda; her father, Noah F. Mauldin of Fountain; in- laws Rich and Jo Branda of Dothan; step-father, Bob Schaefer of Milwaukee, WI; brothers, Jamie Leavins of Panama City and Jason Mauldin of Graceville; her sister, Addie Mauldin of Callaway; nephews, Skyler, Luke and Caleb; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, November 9, 2019, at the Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wyatt Shiver officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 9:00 am until service time at 10:00. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Margaret K. Lewis School in memory of Jessica Branda.
