JIMMY LAMAR PACE
Jimmy Lamar Pace, age 71, died in his home at Panama City Beach, FL after a long battle with cancer, Friday, October 16, 2020. Jimmy was born in Meridian, MS June 19, 1949 to the late Joshua Morgan Pace and Zelphia Willis Pace. He was married to Rhonda Saylors Pace. Jimmy spent his early years in Meridian, MS and lived in Panama City Beach several years prior to his death. He was the former owner and operator of Pace Tree Service.
Survivors include his wife, Rhonda Pace of Panama City Beach, FL; 2 daughters, Tammy Pace Garcia of Waveland, MS and Tonya Pace Jayroe and husband Shawn of Philadelphia, MS; four grandchildren, Cailen Pace, Jabie Murray, Eli Jayroe and Lakelyn Garcia; sister, Judy Ann Brunet and husband Thomas of Houma; niece, Terri Dean Caruthers of Jackson, MS and nephew, David Dean of Houma, LA.
A Celebration of Life service for Jimmy will be held at2:00 PM Thursday, October 22, 2020, at Cornerstone Baptist Church with Pastor BB Senn officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to either the American Cancer Society or to a charity of your choice.
