Joseph "Jeb" Stewart

Joseph (Jeb) Stewart 67, laid down his fiddle to be with the Lord Wednesday, April 21, 2021.

He was a long time employee at Coastal Helicopters Inc. as a A&P certified engine mechanic. Jeb was a avid fiddle player and a member of the Tidewater Bluegrass Band for many years and was also an accomplished gunsmith.

He is survived by his wife, Sally Stewart of 38 years and two sons, Casey and Corey, his brother Tommy Stewart (Julia) and a sister Julie Young (Rick), several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Jeb was preceded in death by his father William T Stewart, his mother Elsie Stewart, and brother Andrew Stewart. Jeb was a true inspiration for all and will be truly missed by many.

A special thanks to Dr. Rush Akin, Florida Cancer Affiliates, and Covenant Healthcare. A celebration of life will be at Kent-Forest Lawn funeral home Monday, May 3rd starting at 2 PM visitation and service starting at 3 PM with Rev. Bob Hayes officiating.
