Joseph Young

Joseph M. Young, 79, of Panama City, FL, passed away on February 16, 2021. Joe was born on February 19, 1941 in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Joe was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather. He retired as a Master Sergeant from the U.S. Air Force after 26 years of service as a Nuclear Weapons Specialist, Explosive Ordinance Disposal-Master Blaster and Operations Resources Management Supervisor.  Joe was well known for his love of coffee in both Panera and Waffle House. Joe had a love for tech-toys, wood working and riding his motorcycle with his wife.

Joe is preceded in death by his older sister, Janice Mustian and parents J. B. Young & Ester (Smith) Young.

Joe is survived by his wife Sueko Young of 50 golden years.  His son John T. Young, Katherine S. Young (daughter-in-law), his younger sister Betsy Tucker,  and 6 grandchildren.

A viewing for both family and friends will be held on 22 Feb at St. Dominic’s Catholic Church starting at 1:00 p.m., Military Honors 1:45, followed by a mass/memorial at 2:00 p.m.
