Katherine Elizabeth Bowman Christian
September 7, 1953 – September 19, 2022

Katherine (Kathy) Christian, age 69, of Lexington, Kentucky, passed away on September 19, 2022 in Panama City, Florida. Kathy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, friend, and teacher. She was a graduate of University of Kentucky, Western Kentucky University, and Georgetown College. Kathy is survived by her husband, James David Christian; her children, Lauren (Brian) Gibson, and Leah (Drew) Chalkley; her grandchildren, Christian and Elizabeth Gibson, and James and Rose Chalkley; her parents, Roy and Golda Bowman; and her siblings, Geary (Debbie) Bowman, Mary (Ralph) Epperson, and Wilma (David) Armstrong. She is predeceased by her brother, Edward Bowman.

A visitation will be held in Panama City, Florida on September 25th from 4 – 6 at Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home. A visitation will be held in Lexington, Kentucky on September 28th from 5 - 7 at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on September 29th at 12:30 at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home; the family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service. Interment will take place at Blue Grass Memorial Gardens following the service.
