Kenneth Booker

Kenneth (Ken) Booker, age 68, of Panama City, FL went home to be with the Lord Jesus Christ on May 19, 2023. He was born to Billy and Shirley Traweek Booker in San Diego, CA.

Ken will be remembered as a loving husband, son, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He was preceded in death by his father Billy Booker and sister Tuyet Kim Le. Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Soraya Booker; two children: Shane Booker (Jessica) and Kara Booker; his mother, Shirley Traweek Booker; two sisters: Rhonda Kim (Kevin) and Toni Codd (Liege); his brother, Sang Kim Le; four grandchildren: Tony-Lee Locklear Lagasse (Charlie), Luke Hammock, Carson Booker, and Kloe Booker; his aunt, Linda Jetton (Lynn); four nieces: Andrea Adams, Olivia Le Jacobson (husband Adam and daughter Alyssa), Jane Morrissey (husband Joey and sons Jacob and Jordan); and two brothers-in-law, Tariq Ahmed (Michelle) and Moose Ahmed.

Ken received his L.P.N. from Tom P Haney Technical Center in 1992 where he received the "Nurse of the Year" award for his class. He worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Bay Medical Center O.R., Bay Medical Center Hospice, and Emerald Coast Behavioral Hospital.

He loved all types of music, playing the guitar, working on his computer, personal bible reading and study and watching old western movies, But most of all, he loved his family.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 26, 2023, at Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 2403 Harrison Avenue, Panama City, FL 32405. The family welcomes friends for visitation from 10-11 AM, the service will commence at 11 AM with interment to follow immediately after.
