Kenneth Leon Hottle, of Panama City Beach, FL, passed with his devoted and loving wife, Tamara, at his side, at the age of 56. Kenneth was born to the late Thelma Kerns Hottle and William Harrison Hottle, and spent his youth in Arlington, Virginia. For many years, Kenneth worked for his family’s Northern Virginia company, Hottle, Inc., and for the last nine years Kenneth worked for Southwest Airlines.
With a cup of coffee in hand and his charismatic storytelling, Kenneth could ignite any room with joy and laughter. Kenneth was a good friend to all, and a genuinely great gentleman who would give his shirt to anyone in need. A strong patriarch of his family, he was a wonderful Grand Daddy to his grandchildren, always doing his best to teach and guide them by providing his sage advice and wisdom. Kenneth was a strong, proud, and good man. He was loved and admired by many and will be missed greatly.
Kenneth is survived by two stepdaughters: Melissa Dudley and Megan (Thomas) Rivers; five grandchildren (Justice, Amirah, B. Saji, Brayden, and Dakarai); his sister, Priscilla (Malcolm) Alls; and three brothers: Martin (Josephine) Hottle, John Hottle, and Matthew (Kacy) Hottle. Kenneth was predeceased by his brother, Philip (Sharon) Hottle, and his sister, Melissa Kay Hottle. Also survived and adored by his fur-babies: Ginger Rose and Maple Jane.
A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, December 10, 2020 at 4:00 PM at St. Thomas By the Sea Episcopal Church, 20408 1st Ave, Panama City Beach, FL 32413. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to the Service in the Parrish Hall.
Kenneth’s interment will be held on a later date at Columbia Gardens Cemetery located at 3411 Arlington Boulevard, Arlington, Virginia 22201.
