Lawrence Edwards III

Lawrence Edwards, III, lovingly known as L.C., 82 of Panama City, passed away Thursday June 6, 2019 in Madison, FL. Lawrence was born November 8, 1936 in Cherry Lake, FL to Lawrence and Arthur (Tice) Edwards, II and moved to Panama City in 1965 coming from Quitman, GA. Lawrence was a professional chef for most of his career and worked for various restaurants throughout Panama City and Panama City beach which includes Seven Seas, Mama Capezzi, Angelo’s, Captain Anderson, Shrimp Boat, Gulf Coast Hospital and retired from Chef Amundi Restaurant. He was united in marriage to his wife, Sally who preceded him in death on May 15, 2018. Lawrence is survived by his children, Patricia (Walter) Henry of Panama City, Greg (Frieda) Edwards of Panama City, Evans (Donna) Edwards of Tallahassee and Tammy Edwards of Panama City; his siblings, Dorothy Brown of Quitman, GA, Eddie (Inetra) Edwards of Boston, loving and devoted brother, Aaron Edwards of Quitman, GA, loving and devoted sister, Florence Boatman of Madison and Mozzell Tice of Madison, FL; two sister in laws Theresa Lee (Thomas) of Panama City and Sheryl Brantley of Tallahassee; his grandchildren, Teressa Brayboy, Tamesha Hill-Edwards, LaTrinia (Clinton) Paisley, April Henry, Brandon Edwards, Phillip Edwards, Jakarri Edwards, Xavier Edwards & Miesha Whitfield; his fifteen great-grandchildren, four great great-grandchildren and his loving and devoted niece Carol Griffin and loving and devoted nephew, Keith Boatman. Friends will be received 10-11 am Saturday at the Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home where funeral services will take place that day at 11 am. Interment will follow the service at G
