LEOLA HIERS BROGDON
Ms. Leola Hiers Brogdon passed away on Thursday, May 28th. She was born August 7, 1933 to the late Franklin J Hiers and Ethel Moses Hiers Broxton. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Buford Brogdon; three daughters, Deloris Brogdon, Janice Brogdon, and Shirley Lee.
She was a long time member of Springfield Community Church and a homemaker. She lived most of her life on Springfield Ave in Springfield, FL. She was very happy and enjoyed the last few years of her life being loved, making new friends, and socializing with the people at River Valley Rehab in Blountstown, FL.
Leola is survived by one son-in-law, Greg Lee; three grandchildren, Amanda Swearington, Ashton McCullen (Adam), and Stephen Lee (Caitlin); and three great grandchildren, Tieler Ainsworth, Temperance McCullen, and Clayton James Lee; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be open to all who desire to pay their respects on Monday, June 1, 2020 from 6-8 PM at Kent Forest Lawn Funeral Home. A private funeral service will take place Tuesday, June 2, 2020. Internment will follow at Evergreen Memorial.
