Leslie Ann Johnson

October 20, 1955 ~ November 2, 2019 (age 64) 64 Years Old

Tribute

Leslie Ann Johnson, 64, of Youngstown, Fl. went to her heavenly home on November 2nd, 2019.

She was born October 20th, 1955 in Mount Kisco, NY to William and Caroline Hansen. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Bayou George for 26 years, where she was a faithful servant of the Lord.  She and her husband, Jim moved to Panama City in 1991 from Albuquerque, NM, where they desired to raise their girls. She was the definition of a Proverbs 31 woman. Leslie was a beloved wife, adoring mother, devoted Bamaw and endearing friend to all who knew her.  Everyone who was blessed to know her felt the no nonsense Northern-Southern charm.  She knew how to comfort you and lead you in a motherly way with such grace and an infectious smile.  Leslie's passions were her Savior Jesus, her daughters, her sons she gained by marriage, her grandchildren, piddling in the yard, cooking Sunday lunch for the family, attending ball games, riding motorcycles with the Hellfighters and Goldwing club and above all she enjoyed experiencing her passions hand and hand with her best friend, her soulmate, her spiritual strength, her husband. Leslie was a gem and her story was to tell of the Lord and He was her testimony.

She was proceeded in death by her parents, William and Caroline Hansen.  She was survived by her husband, James A. Johnson; four daughters, JoAnn Denery, Kristi Page (Travis), Teresa Barker (Kyle), Tammy Bailey (Darren); seven grandsons: Tanner and Jase Page, Lucerian, Xander and Zeke Barker, Clay and Kyle Bailey, great-grandson, CJ Bailey, three siblings; Kristine Krechoweckyj (Kornel), William Hansen (Dawn) and Cathy Pridlides (James).

Her services will be held on Friday, November 8th, 2019 at 2 pm at Kent-Forest Lawn with Pastor Jay Powell officiating. The family will receive friends from 1-2 pm prior to the service.  Active pallbearers are Travis Page, Kyle Barker, Darren Bailey, Tanner Page, Lucerian Barker, Kyle Bailey, William Hansen, James Pridlides and Kornel Krechoweckyj.  Honorary pallbearers are the Hellfighters Christian Ministries. A graveside service will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
