Lewis Dale Redmond

On Wednesday, May 5, 2021, Lewis D. Redmond,loving husband, father, and grandfather passed away at the age of 78. Lewis was born on December 14, 1942 in Champaign, Illinois to Alonzo D. Redmond and Irena Redmond. He was a graduate of Normal Community High School in Normal, Illinois in 1961. On June 23, 1963 he married the love of his life, Mary Lou and together they raised two children, Chris Redmond and Jane Redmond. In 1979, he and his family moved to Panama City, Florida from Normal, Illinois to continue his career in the automotive industry. Lewis was the Parts manager for Bill Cramer Chevrolet from 1979 till his retirement in 2012. He enjoyed reading, traveling, and baseball. Lewis took tremendous pride in his grandson and loved attending his many music recitals, sporting matches, and school events. Lewis was preceded in death by his mother, Irena Redmond, his father, Alonzo Redmond, and his beloved wife Mary Lou Redmond. He is survived by his son, Chris Redmond, daughter-in-law, April, grandson, Nathan, daughter Jane Redmond, and brother, Paul Redmond.
