Lisha Creamer

Lisha Creamer, age 82, of Southport passed away at a local health care facility on Saturday, September 2, 2017. She was a member of First Assembly of God in Southport and loved attending her church services and her ladies prayer meetings. She enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. In her earlier years she enjoyed fishing and crocheting. Lisha was an excellent cook.

Lisha was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Essie Vera (Weaver) Sapp; sisters, Josephine Barnes, Vera Mirl Corbin, Shirley Howard and Luverne Hallford. She is survived by her husband, Archie Creamer; daughters, Pat Morgan (Don), and Sandra Chacon (Art); sons, Alvesta Creamer (Bonnie), Gwen Creamer (Sharon), Robert Creamer (Jacqueline) and Bobby Creamer (Kelly); four brothers, Edward Sapp, Albert H. Sapp, Herman Sapp and Lou Allen Sapp; fourteen grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 6, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. at First Assembly of God in Southport with Pastors Joe Sellers and Roger Dale Hagan officiating. Interment will follow at Southport Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends and visitors on Tuesday evening, September 5, 2017, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the church.

Pallbearers will be Art Chacon, Jr., Chad Creamer, Jason Creamer, Jamie Creamer, Jeffrey Creamer, Josh Creamer and Nolan Creamer. Honorary Pallbearers will be members of Lisha’s Sunday School Class.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the Convoy of Hope Missionary Service of the Assembly of God or to the Southport Assembly of God Church.
