Louise Marie Gorman, 93 of Lynn Haven, passed away October 2, 2019 at her home. Louise was born April 8, 1926 in Talbotton, Georgia to George and Annie May (Worley) Sheriff. She was united in Holy Matrimony to James Earl Gorman of Eastpoint, GA on November 4, 1944. She is preceded in death by both her parents, her husband and a daughter, Dinna Marie Baker and her brothers, Odell, James and Garland Sheriff. Louise owned and operated for over 20 years Old Church Furniture Shop in Panama City. She later moved to Lynn Haven and renamed her business Gorman’s Antiques & Rita’s Refinishing Shop where they operated for over 35 years. Louise is survived by her children, James Earl Gorman, Jr. of Hoschton, GA, Donna Lynn Palmer of Lynn Haven and Verida (Steve Cooper) Bray of Burnt Mill Creek; her seven grandchildren, Duane, Meshell, Victoria, Jimmy, Jonathan and Candice as well as her seventeen great-grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren. She lived a beautiful Christian life and will be forever cherished by her family. Friends will be received 4-6 pm Sunday at the Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home where funeral services will take place 10 am Monday. Interment will follow the service at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
