Lubie (Bud) Davis

Of Panama City, Florida passed away surrounded by family.
He was born in Popular Bluff, MO to Ruth Gibson and Lubie E. Davis. He had 2 Sisters, 1 Brother, and his son Thomas Davis. They all precede him in death.
Surviving are his beloved wife Patti L. Davis, along with his kids Cindy (Mike) Weibring, Robert Davis, Richard (Tina) Davis, Stacey (Carey) Ogborn, Amy (Bob) Cunningham, Mary (David) Artmon, Tracy (Kenyon) Wurster, Becky (Josh) MacArthur, nieces, nephews, and numerous Grandkids and Great Grandkids.
He served in the Korean war driving an ambulance for the U.S. Army. After the army he worked various jobs upon returning to civilian life. He then worked at Caterpillar for over 27 years, retiring in 1998.
He loved to dance and sing. He never once complained, and he would help someone in a heartbeat, with anything that he could. He was an amazing man who loved to make people laugh and smile.
There will be no service as he did not want any. The family wishes to thank everyone for his wonderful care from Emerald Coast Hospice in making his final days comfortable.
