MARGARET EDNA ELLSWORTH

Margaret Edna (Childers) Ellsworth, 89, of Parker, passed away September 17, 2020. Margaret was born in Timon, LA, and lived her entire life in Bay county. During this time, she traveled to Japan, France and Germany with her husband while he was in the military. She loved her family, church, and home dearly.

She held the positions of Bookkeeper for Gandy and Sons Seafood, ane Veterans Counselor for the Veterans Administration Office. As a faithful member of the Parker United Methodist Church since 1936, she is the past President of the Mary Martha Circle. She also taught kindergarten and Sunday School for many decades.

She was preceded in death by her son, David Ellsworth; sister, Louise Burch, and brother, Robert Childers, and brother, WJ Childers.

Survivors include her husband of 72 years, US Army veteran of WWII and retired USAF officer, Donald H. Ellsworth; her daughters, Ann Williams (Don) of Central Valley, UT, Rose Heindel (Dave) of Panama City and Donna Adams (Tommy) of Vernon; a brother, Charles Childers and sister, Rosalee Davis, both of Parker; 43 grandchildren and great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, September 22, 2020, at the Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jon Laughlin officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 PM until service time at 2:00.
