MARGIE ANN SMITH

Mrs. Margie Ann Smith, 83 of Panama City Beach, FL, passed away on Monday, April 15th, 2019,
peacefully at her home under the care of Covenant Hospice. Mrs. Smith was born in Macon, GA
and lived outside of the Atlanta area before moving to Panama City Beach in 1999. Mrs. Smith
retired from working as an administrative assistant to Dr.’s Goldstein and Feinman in Atlanta,
GA.

She always enjoyed being with her children, family and friends. She was an accomplished
musician, having served as church pianist and organist for many years at Locust Grove Baptist
Church in Smyrna, GA. She enjoyed music, art, reading, golf, swimming, crossword puzzles,
cooking and gardening. Her creative shell art was admired by many.

Mrs. Smith is survived by three children, Scott Smith (Linda), Elizabeth Smith and Benjamin
Smith, sister Virginia Fay Shedd, brother Sam Childree (Josephine), sister Willa Diane Redmond,
Uncle Lee Eldridge DeFoe, and three grandchildren, Brittany, Caitlin and MacKenzie. She is pre-
deceased by her grandparents, parents and husband Charles C. Smith.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked to consider making a donation to Covenant Hospice or
The American Cancer Society.
