Marie Revell

Marie Revell, born June 23, 1930, went home to Heaven June 14, 2017. She went in her sleep peacefully. She had dementia for the last 8 years. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Harry Revell in 2010, and her 4 sisters and brother are already waiting there for her. She is survived by her two daughters, Janet Smith (Wayne) and Ann Street (Jerry); her grandchildren, Christopher Smith (Christail), Nathan Smith (Alyssa Brooks), Jonathan Smith (Kaitlin); her great-grandchildren, Parker and Cooper and numerous nieces and nephews. She went to "FSU" and graduated in 1952 with a degree in teaching.  She taught at Hutchison Beach elementary school, and retired in 1993.  She was a member at City Church at Northside.  She loves Jesus and even near the end she was always talking about him. Visitation will be Thursday from 10-11 am with funeral services at 11 am at City Church at Northside. Interment will take place privately at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery. Instead of flowers, please donate funds to the children's ministry at City Church at Northside. She asked for everyone to please wear brightly colored clothing because this is a homecoming. She has gone to Heaven to a joyous place.  We will miss her but she is in a great place in no pain in her resurrected perfect body having a great time with all of her family. Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
