MARILYN LAINHART HONTZ

Marilyn Lainhart Hontz, 75, of Lynn Haven, went to be with the Lord Thursday, February 8, 2018. Marilyn was born in Washington, DC, and lived in Bay County since 1989. She retired as Human Resource Director at Bay Medical Center after 14 years service. Marilyn loved the Lord, and was a faithful Christian and member of the Lynn Haven United Methodist Church. She enjoyed traveling, nature, and spending time with her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her sister, Lois Hicks-Beach and brother, John W. Lainhart, III.

Survivors include her treasured friend, Camille Anderson of Lynn Haven; her daughters, Chris Hontz of St. John's FL and Cathy Hontz-Geisinger and husband Charles of Gainesville, FL; 2 grandsons, Michael Walklett of Jacksonville, FL and Kristopher Walklett of Gainesville, FL.

Funeral services will begin at 11:00 AM Monday, February 12, 2018, at the Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Jim Luther officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the chapel from 10:00 AM until service time at 11:00. Flowers will be appreciated, or donations in Marilyn's name may be made to the Lynn Haven United Methodist Church, 4501 Transmitter Rd., Panama City, FL 32404.
