Kirk Greek, 61, of Panama City, Florida passed away peacefully on July 15, 2021 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was surrounded by loved ones who will continue to honor his legacy by living their lives to the fullest. Marion Kirk Greek was born in Munich, Germany to Winfield and Yvonne Greek. He spent his youth traveling to wherever his father’s military career took him, but he always considered Live Oak, Florida “home.” He started his family in Port Charlotte, Florida and lived there for more than a decade. He enjoyed all things outdoors and had a soft spot for his family and his animals. He was a long-time dedicated employee at Bay District Schools, Haney Technical Center. He is preceded in death by his father and mother, as well as two brothers, Neal and Floyd Greek. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Terry Greek, and 3 daughters, Christi (Pat) Dalton, Heather (Greg) Hosmer, and Brooke (Nick) Foster, 10 grandchildren, and many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was a strong, kind, loving and supportive husband and father, and he was known to his grandchildren as Papa Kirk. His knowledge and guidance was the foundation of his family. There will be a memorial service July 25th, 2021 at 1pm at Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home and Cemetery in Panama City, FL.
