Mary Parham Waldroff

Mary Alice Parham Waldroff, age 88, of Panama City, FL, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Aug. 6th, 2022.  She was born to Warren & Lizzie Beth (Ayers) Parham on March 16, 1934, in Altha, Florida.  She will be remembered for being a loving and faithful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and school lunchroom manager extraordinaire. 

She loved her family and her Lord with everything she had.  She worked hard to keep everyone safe and well-fed.  She had the countenance of an angel, and no one can remember her ever showing anger or treating anyone with disrespect.  She was an amazing cook and loved to read, crochet, sew, and be with her loved ones.  She was a member of the Pentecostal faith all of her life and was a dependable prayer warrior who is now Heaven’s gain.

Mary is preceded in death by her husband, William E. Waldroff, Jr.; son David Waldroff; daughter-in-law Jane (Potts) Waldroff; and son-in-law Dwight Austin; as well as her parents, Warren & Lizzie Beth Parham; four sisters, Viola, Lois, Willie Mae, and Irene; and brother Calvin.  She is survived by three sons, Warren Waldroff (Kathy), Tommy Waldroff (Cindy), and Mark Waldroff (Margaret); two daughters, Patsy Addison and Becky Austin; sixteen grandchildren, Stephanie McElroy, Sherah Wright (Joe), Tabitha Lehrmann (Will), Timothy Addison, Angela Addison, Joshua Waldroff (Miranda), Jennifer Wadsworth (Brett), Lee Waldroff, Jessica Potter (Jonathan), Jana Smeltzer (Philip), Christy Austin, Christopher Austin (Naomi), William Waldroff, Lauren Coats (Ben), Megan Smith (Skyler), and Philip Waldroff; and fifteen great-grandchildren, Jerrod, Elizabeth, Margaret, Stephen, Barrett, Cadie, Cooper, Katelyn, Harper, Laela, Levi, Noella, Junia, Silas, and Riley.

Family will receive visitors on Friday, August 12th, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Kent Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 2403 Harrison Ave, Panama City, FL, 32405.  Funeral service will be held Saturday, August 13th, at 1:00 p.m. in the Kent Forest Lawn chapel, with additional visitation an hour prior, with Pastor Kyle Shoots officiating.

Interment will be at graveside, if weather allows, following the service.
