Mary Ruth Pierce

Mary Ruth Pierce, age 88, of Panama City Beach passed away at a local healthcare facility on Saturday, October 28, 2017. She was born in Appleton, Wisconsin and had resided in the Panama City Beach area for over 25 years. Mrs. Pierce was a member of St. Bernadette Catholic Church and worked at the Carousel in Panama City Beach for 15 years.

Mrs. Pierce was predeceased by her husband, Paul A. Pierce and granddaughter, Athena Pierce. She is survived by 5 children, Paul R. Pierce (Maria), Carl R. Pierce (Cyndi), Nancy Oprisko, Mark A. Pierce (Sue), and James A. Pierce (Susan); a dear sister, Judy Doolin (Shawn); 9 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to St. Bernadette Catholic Church, Beach Care Services or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
