Mary Jane Waldroff

Mary Jane Waldroff, 66, of Dallas, GA, went to be with the Lord Saturday, January 8, 2022 surrounded by her family. Jane was born in Witchita Falls, Texas but grew up mostly in Marianna, FL. She was a graduate of Mariana High School and Chipola Junior College. Jane was a stay home mom, a substitute teacher, and a cashier at Dan D Donuts and Cooper Drugs before retiring in 2010.

She was a great wife, mother and friend to those closest to her. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Mary Potts, husband David Waldroff, father- in –law William E. Waldroff Jr., brother in- law Ronald D. Austin, and many other family members and friends.

Survivors include her daughters Jessica Potter and husband Jonathan and Jana Smeltzer and husband Phillip; granddaughters Katelyn Bennett and Harper Smeltzer. She is also survived by one sister in California as well as numerous in laws, nieces, cousins, and extended family.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at the Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 6:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M.
