MAX MICHAEL GAUTHIER
Max Michael Gauthier, 84, of Panama City, went to be with Jesus Thursday, February 6, 2020. Max was born in Indianapolis, IN, and lived most of his life in Panama City. He retired from the US Air Force as a TSGT after 20 years of service, loved being a shift supervisor with CCA for 10 years and enjoyed his last 20 years with security companies . Max and Shirley attended church services at the Tyndall AFB Chapel. He was an excellent photographer, and loved all kinds of electrical gadgets and his many dogs. Max was a wonderful husband and father who worked full time until last December and passed his strong work ethic to his children. His motto was "If you love what you do, you'll never work a day in your life".
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Shirley Jean (Farmer) Gauthier; 3 children, Michael Miles Gauthier of Bayou La Batre, AL, Suzette J. Taylor of Great Falls, SC and Matthew Marshall Gauthier of Panama City, FL; 3 grandchildren, Kimberly Michelle Looper (Jeremy), David Michael Gauthier and Alan Joseph Taylor (Stephanie); and 6 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, February 11, 2020, at the Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Robert Tilly officiating. Interment with military honors offered by the US Air Force will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00 AM until service time at 11:00. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 4001 W. 23rd St., Panama City, FL 32405.
