Melba D. Hudson

Melba Dismuke Hudson, 74 of Mexico Beach, passed away peacefully November 12, 2018 at her home surrounded by family and under Covenant Hospice Care. Melba is preceded in death by her parents, Jim Mack Dismuke and Winifred Dyess Dismuke. She is survived by her husband, James B. Hudson of Mexico Beach; sister, Miriam B. Dismuke of Port St. Joe Beach, FL; son, James Brandon Oakes (his fiancé, Kim Singleton) of Louisville, AL; daughter, Wendi V. Oakes of Batesville, AL; grandson, James Tanner Oakes of Enterprise, AL; step-daughters, Lynn Hudson of Tallahassee, FL, Laurie Mikuta (Joel) of Springhill, TN and step-son, James B. Hudson, Jr. of Tallahassee; a step-granddaughter, Georgia Grace Mikuta of Springhill, TN and step-grandson, Bryson Hudson all of Tallahassee, FL. There will be no services at this time. Memorial contributions may be to Covenant Care Hospice of Panama City. Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home is assisting the family with cremation.
