Michelle Eustis

Michelle Dawn Eustis, 55, of Hurlburt Field, FL and formerly of Panama City, passed away November 13, 2020. Michelle was born January 31, 1965 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota to Henrietta (De Boer) Newberg. Michelle devoted her life to her children, raising them all over the United States as a military family. Her family moved to Panama City in 2003 from Oklahoma. Michelle was a Licensed Practical Nurse and had a two-year certificate in accounting/booking. She worked for Lisenby Retirement Center for the past fourteen years. Michelle was a compassionate spirit whose passion was caring for others, particularly the elderly community. She treated and cared for her residents as if they were members of her own family. Michelle enjoyed reading, playing board games, and watching her favorite television shows. She was a passionate fan of country music and Denver Broncos football. Michelle was immensely proud of her children. She loved spending time with her family, including her four grandchildren, who loved her dearly. She is preceded in death by her mother, Henrietta Strum and is survived by her children, Megan (Chris) Mould of Panama City and Tech Sergeant Shane (Jessica) Eustis of Hurlburt Field, FL; her grandchildren, Casey & Emma Mould of Panama City and Camden & Allison Eustis of Hurlburt Field, FL; her brothers, Marty and Micky Newberg of Arvada, Colorado; her step-father, Terry Strum of Arvada, Colorado and her niece and nephew Haylee and Tyler Newberg of Denver, Colorado. She is also survived and preceded in death by many extended family members on the Newberg and Eustis side. Friends will be received 1-2 pm Saturday at the Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home where Memorial Services will take place that afternoon at 2pm.
