Mona Lou Wilson

Mona Lou Wilson, 80 of Youngstown, passed away peacefully at her home December 29, 2018. Mona was born February 19, 2038 in Lake, Mississippi to James and Sadie (Harris) McCoy and moved to Bay County in 2002 coming from Palm Bay, Florida. Mona is preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie Wilson in 2002, a daughter, Cathy Wise and her siblings, Tex McCoy, Buddy McCoy, Mamelee Brannon, Margaret McCoy and Mildred Stewart. She is survived by her children, Cindy (Ralph) Haire and Johnnie (Christine) Wilson all of Youngstown; her nine grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and one great great-granddaughter. Friends will be received 6-8 pm Wednesday at East Avenue 1st Assembly of God Church where funeral services will take place 2 pm Thursday. Interment will follow the service at Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
