Peggy Hargrove

Peggy S. Hargrove, 94, of Lynn Haven FL, passed away June 30, 2019, at Miramar Beach, FL. Peggy was born May 30, 1925, in Harlesden, England to Frederick and Mabel (Caney) Steward . She immigrated to the United States after her marriage to Herschel L. Hargrove on September 30, 1944. Peggy was preceded in death by her husband on November 1, 1994, and her brother Charlie at infancy. Peggy is survived by her daughters, Helen Jones of Daphne, AL; Frankie Hall of Panama City, FL; June Roberts, of Lynn Haven, FL and Frieda Bush of Panama City, FL. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Debra Cook of Tulsa, OK; Stephanie Fields of Virginia Beach, VA; Denise Billiot of Daphne, AL; Michael Hall of Panama City, FL; Nicole Kelley of Panama City, FL; and Dillon Bush of Panama City, FL. Great Grandchildren David Cook of Tulsa, OK; Aaron Leeper of Mt. Vernon, OH; Paige Bittinger of Mobile, AL; Reid Lynch of Panama City, FL ; Elijah and Jenna Fields, both of Virginia Beach, VA. Peggy was a proud member of the Daughters of the British Empire; a faithful member of Hiland Park Baptist Church; served as a Girl Scout leader and a volunteer at Gulf Coast Hospital for over 15 years. Viewing for friends and family will be held from 6 – 8 pm, Saturday, July 6 with funeral services taking place at 4 pm on Sunday, July 7 at Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Interment will be held privately at Forest Lawn Memorial Cemetery.
