RICHARD R. "RICKY" COINER, JR.

Ricky Coiner, 63, of Panama City, passed away May 29, 2021 after an extended illness. He was a native and life-long resident of Panama City, and a 1975 graduate of Mosley High School, where he was known as "Mr. Irresistible". After high school, he obtained his AA degree from Gulf Coast College. Ricky worked with Cook-Whitehead Ford and Chrysler Credit before joining Magic Broadcasting where he worked for 20 years. He will also be remembered as a member of the "Fat Boys" softball team sponsored by Rustler's Reef. Ricky was known for his great sense of humor, and will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his mother, Marie Coiner.

Survivors include his father, Richard Coiner, Sr. and wife Marian; a brother, Mickey Coiner and wife Tina; and niece and nephew, Jessica and James McCusker.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, June 3, 2021, at the Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from noon until service time at 2:00. The "Fat Boys" are asked to serve as honorary pallbearers.
