Robert J. Sheffield

Sergeant First Class, Robert Jerry Sheffield, United States Army, ret., 82 of Lynn Haven, passed away Saturday June 15, 2019 at his home. He was born April 11th 1937 in Duluth, GA to Frank and Buna Eva (Staton) Sheffield. Robert is survived by his wife of 54 years, Margaret Ann (Peggy) who resides in Lynn Haven. He is also survived by his daughter, Robin Burns and his sons, Paul Wells and Brett Sheffield. Robert served his country for over 20 years in the United States Army and is a veteran of the Korean and Vietnam Wars. Friends will be received 6-8 pm Thursday at the Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home where funeral services will take place 11 am Friday. Interment will full military honors will follow the service at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
