Robert Leroy Jones

Robert Leroy Jones, age 68, of Lynn Haven, FL, passed away April 29, 2022.

He was born to Alfred and Mary Ellen Jones on January 25, 1954 in Chelsea, OK. Robert retired from the Air Force in 1995 as a tech sergeant. He served as a Lynn Haven Police Officer for 15 years before retiring in 2018. He enjoyed spending time with his family and faithfully attended Southport Community Holiness Church.

He is proceeded in death by his wife Treva Jones, father Alfred Jones, mother Mary Ellen Wilson, and step-father Ulis “Dud” Wilson.

He is survived by his three children David (Alicia) Jones, Thedessa (Anthony) Varnadore, and Mark (Rachel) Jones; grandchildren Benjamin Jones, Connor Jones, Megan (J) Jones, Katilyn (Allen) Young, Josiah Varnadore, Claire Jones, Lydia Jones, Anna Jones, and Charlotte Jones; great-grandchildren Hugh and Harrison Young ; and siblings Ronnie (Carolyn) Wilson, Wesley Jones, and Marilyn Gibson.

A memorial Service will be held on Thursday, May 5th at 4pm at New Church. 3317 New Church Rd, Panama City, FL 32409. The family will receive visitors thirty minutes prior to the service.
