ROBIN L. MENDES

Robin L. Mendes, 59, of Southport, passed away Saturday, July 28, 2018, at Covenant Care Hospice at Bay Medical Center. Robin was born in San Bernardino, CA, and lived in Bay county for the last 20 years. She worked as a caterer for Buffalo Rock for 11 years, and later worked at the Deli at the Lynn Haven Publix. Robin enjoyed fishing, cooking, and spending time with her "adopted" grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Lila Mendes, and two brothers, Steven and Russell Mendes.

Survivors include three sisters, Kathy Widmer of California, Pamela Stanford of Nevada, and Paula Mendes (Jeremy Marks) of Southport; a brother, Brian Mendes of California; and numerous nieces and nephews, including Meghan Owens and her husband Christopher, Melissa Stanford and Sean Mendes.

A Celebration of Life Service for Robin will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, August 4, 2018, at the Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chad Reister officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:00 pm until service time at 3:00. Flowers are appreciated, or donations in Robin's name may be made to your favorite charity.
