Ronald Childs

Ronnie Childs my beloved husband passed away Saturday afternoon at 1:05 pm in his peaceful place at home surrounded by his beloved wife of 48 years Sandra, loving daughter Natalie, son Ronnie Jr., mother in love Imogene, sister Linda and family,  and brother Tommy and family. Ronnie served honorably in the United States Marine Corps, retired Chevron Oil Company, and the Bay County Sheriff’s Department. God filled our home with love and happiness every day. The old river under the Tupelo fishing was another peaceful place he enjoyed and everyone he invited was honored to go fishing with him.  Our grandchildren Katie, Annalese, and Alex adored him. Ronnie always had time for all of us and his so many friends that were made throughout his lifetime. He was preceded in death by his parents TL Childs and Hazel B Childs, as well as his younger brother Steven.  Ronnie enjoyed every day with fun, laughter, friends, playing ball, hunting, fishing, bowling, golfing, and coaching.  What a rewarding life he had and was filled with much love and happiness.  God has spoken.
