RONALD LYNN PORTER

Ronald Lynn Porter, 62, of Mexico Beach, FL, passed away Monday, November 18, 2019. Ron grew up in Memphis, TN. He has lived in Bay County, FL since 1994. He retired as a MSGT after 20 plus years in the US Air Force. After his retirement, Ron worked in Aviation Maintenance at Tyndall Air Force Base. He was a die hard Tennessee Vol's football fan, and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Ron was preceded in death by his father, Billie Joe Porter and brother, Joey Porter.

Survivors include his sons, Bradley Porter and wife Theresa (Short-Round) of Panama City and Chris Porter of Mexico Beach; his mother, Geneva Porter of Panama City; sister, Lee Ann Porter of Panama City; and his grandchildren, Rylee Porter, Nathaniel Porter, Jailyn Porter, Lilliane Porter, Riggs Porter, Allyson Mann and Nathan Mann.

A Celebration of Life Service for Ron will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, November 25, 2019, at the Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with full military honors offered by the US Air Force Honor Guard. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00 AM until service time at 11:00.
