Rose C. Byer, 97 of Panama City went home to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday, April 28, 2022. Rose retired as a Department manager from Montgomery Ward after many years of service. she was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Panama City and enjoyed crocheting heirlooms for her friends and church family.

Rose was preceded in death by her husband John W. Byer, Jr. , her son, Vernon W. Byer and seven brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her daughter, Linda D. Edmonds (Ron) ; a step-grandson, Shannon Edmonds (April) and 2 step-great grandchildren

Funeral services will be held 10:00 am Monday, May 2, 2022 at the Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Mike Jones officiating. Entombment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens under the direction of Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home. The family will receive guests from 6:00pm till 8:00pm Sunday, May 1, 2022 at the funeral home
