Sarah Guthrie

Sarah Ruth Guthrie, of Homosassa Springs, passed away March 26, 2024, at 11:15 a.m. She was born Dec. 16, 1931, and was 92. She died at Lifecare Center in Lecanto.

She is survived by her only son, Allan Joseph Gengler and daughter in law, Judy Ann Gengler. 

Also survived by her grandchildren, Tiffany Aguilar and Samantha Petzold and their families. 

She is also survived by her sister Margaret Lynn, brother Jeral Turner her niece Patricia Lynn McNeese and Charlene Vormwald.

In Panama City she owned the Porter Paint/ Wallpaper store until it was bought by an investor. In Crystal River she also had a Porter Paint Store for many years. 

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 5, 2024, at Kent Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Entombment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.
