Shirley Audley Defries

Shirley Phylliss M.T. Audley DeFries of Panama City, Florida, formally of Chelsea, London, England, passed away July 14, 2020. She was a member of Mensa, the Red Hats, the Brits and Holy Nativity Episcopal Church. She received a Bachelor's degree from the University of Houston and a Master's degree from Southeastern Louisiana University She is predeceased by her husband, Clayton ‘Gene’ DeFries and her daughter, Roberta ‘Robbie’ DeFries. She is survived by her daughters Anne Shirley DeFries and Jean Phyllis DeFries, her grandchildren Robert DeFries and Ashleigh DeFries Gallagher, her great grandchild Isabelle Anne DeFries Gallagher and her brother Paul Nelson. Due to the pandemic, no services will be held until a later date. A Poem to Shirley As far as a Mother, you are like none other.
