STEPHEN EDWARD THIGPEN

Stephen Edward Thigpen, 59, of Southport, passed away Sunday, July 1, 2018. Stephen was born in Tripoli, Libya, and lived in Bay county since the age of 5. He was a 1977 graduate of Rutherford High School, and worked in auto parts and paint sales. Stephen loved working on cars, drag racing, and riding motorcycles.

Survivors include his brother, Michael Thigpen (Dianna) of Panama City Beach; a niece, Lynn Rickey (Chris) of Sedalia, MO; 2 great-nephews, Christopher and Shawn Rickey; and many friends in Bay County.

Memorial services will be held in Athens, GA at a later date.
